Cat Boy was an accident. When you think about it, most of us here on the planet were accidents. So this should not come as a surprise.

Here's what really happened: One evening, as the artist doodled in her sketchbook, there appeared a bit of lint. Only it wasn't. When the artist tried to brush the lint away, she discovered that it was actually a bit of ink. Curious to see where this bit of ink would lead, the artist spent the next hour or so exploring with the pen.

Sooner or later the hour or so was up, and the artist was astonished to see that the bit of ink had allowed Cat Boy to come into being.

The original sketch still survives somewhere. It's really pretty cool. And for a whole year, Cat Boy had his own comic in on-the-town magazine. That was pretty cool, too.

You should have seen Cat Boy's original website. It was amazing. Sad to say that it disappeared one day.

So, we are starting over.
